Creating space for difficult conversations

Everything is hard right now and everything feels broken. Calls to listen and understand are so important, but listening to people who reinforce our own viewpoints can only take us so far. To really grow, we need to challenge ourselves to get uncomfortable and to listen to people who have different experiences and ideas than our own. Our current polarization is toxic, but if we can find the courage to listen to other points of view, it can help build a bridge of mutual respect and connection that can lead meaningful understanding and change.
