Holidays can be complicated

As we prepare for Thanksgiving and officially enter the holiday season, just a reminder that it is okay if this is a tricky time for you.  The holidays can be filled with festivities, excitement, and love, but for many people they are also a time for more complicated feelings like grief for those who aren’t with us, sadness about things in our lives that aren’t as might like them to be, or anxiety and overwhelm around expectations for what some think their holidays “should” look like.  It is okay to make space for all of this.  Focus on what fulfills you and your family and feel free to simplify anything that isn’t serving you. If you would like some extra support, don’t be afraid to reach out to family, friends, or professionals. Feel free to reach out to me if you would like to chat. Wishing you all warmth and wellness.
